The Las Vegas Repeater Association (LVRA) 146.880 Repeater on Mt. Potosi may be linked full-time to the Intermountain Intertie System in Utah.

The Intermountain Intertie System covers most of the state of Utah and stretches into parts of southern Idaho. The establishment of a tie to the 146.880 repeater will extend the tremendous coverage of this system.

The LVRA feels this link will provide a valuable service to the Ham community in Southern Nevada. As with any link system, it is important to abide by certain unwritten "rules". Wide area coverage repeaters, such as the 146.880, are not intended to be used for local valley traffic, especially between base stations or mobiles. There are many quality repeaters in Las Vegas that can meet that need. Please utilize this system for what it is intended: communications outside the valley, and now, into the state of Utah.
